PIPELINE PIGGING

Oilfield pipelines periodically need to be cleaned to ensure that the optimum flow of product is maintained and that there is no undesirable increase pressure drop accross flowlines due to wax deposition on pipelines and to prevent corrosion under such deposits. Normally the cleaning process ('pigging') is routine and achieved by the use of pigs, which scrap the lines clean.

PIPELINE DESCALING

The removal of hard calcium and wax deposit in the pipelines inorder to restore the original flowrate to allow inspection tool to access the pipeline integrity and reduce the overall operating cost.

At Topline, we use special scrappers able to pulverize the hard calcium deposit without flow disruption.

INTELLIGENT PIGGING

Pigging refers to the practice of using pipeline inspection tools or "pigs" to perform various operations on the pipeline without restricting the flow of the product in the pipeline.

Intelligent pigging can detect defect(s) most economically in the shortest possible time frame and with the highest reliability. At Topline, we offer a complete range of services for high resolution and quality defect identification using Magnetic Flux Leakage(MFL) and Ultrasonic Technology (UT).
